Trim Levels
Choosing the perfect 2020 Journey is a breeze. It's available in two trims and with plenty of optional packages. Both the base SE Value and the Crossroad trim have an eye-catching exterior with Dodge's signature crosshair grille, dropped fascia, and sculpted fender flares. Available ring-of-fire LED taillights illuminate and improve visibility behind the SUV.
Heated power mirrors help eliminate ice buildup and prevent fogging. The Crossroad comes with 19-inch alloy wheels and body-colored mirrors. Spruce up your SE Value with the available Blacktop Package, which adds black exterior accents and 17-inch black aluminum wheels.
Engine
Get all the power you need with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 173 horsepower and 166 pound-feet of torque. This engine pairs with a four-speed automatic transmission and a front-wheel-drive system. The energy-efficient powertrain boasts great fuel economy, achieving an estimated driving range of 500 miles on one tank of gas.
Performance
Four-wheel independent suspension and front and rear stabilizer bars give the Journey a soft, comfortable ride. If you want a sportier drive, opt for the available touring suspension, which is firmer and more responsive. When you need to haul a small boat or trailer, the Journey has a towing capacity of 1,000 pounds. The standard trailer sway control system helps you maintain control of the trailer.
Interior
The Journey has plenty of room for the entire family, with three rows of seats that fit six people comfortably. Cloth seats come standard on the SE Value trim, while the Crossroad gains leather seats. Add the SE Value Popular Equipment Group Package to get a power driver's seat, three-zone climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. These features come standard on the Crossroad.
The Journey's infotainment system comes with an 8-inch touch screen. When you add the Popular Equipment Group Package to the Crossroad, you get voice-activated navigation, heated front seats, and a luxurious heated steering wheel. It's easy to carry luggage, groceries, and supplies with the configurable seats and roomy interior. With the second- and third-row seats folded down, you get up to 67.6 cubic feet of cargo space. The 50/50-split third-row or the 60/40-split second-row seats allow for even more flexible storage options.
Safety Features
You and your family will feel safe driving down the road, thanks to the electronic stability control and anti-lock brake system that come standard on both trims. In addition, the electronic roll mitigation system helps prevent rollovers and reduces body roll. You also get a rear backup camera and a rear parking assist system.
