Engine

Your last option is the popular 3.2-liter Pentastar V-6 engine that delivers 271 horsepower and 239 pound-feet of torque. All of these engines are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Performance

With the Tigershark engine equipped, your Cherokee can tow up to 2,000 pounds. If that's not enough for you, the 2.0-liter turbo engine can tow a maximum of 4,000 pounds. If you have the Pentastar engine, you can tow a load of up to 4,500 pounds with your Cherokee. Three available four-wheel-drive systems let you choose the grip you want to suit the terrain you're used to driving. If you opt for the most off-road-ready Trailhawk model, you'll have the option of adding the active drive lock four-wheel drive system, as well as many other off-roading features that make this the ideal model for hitting the trails.
