Engine (Power)

You can expect to find five engine options available for the 2025 Jeep Wrangler. The first is a 3.6-liter V-6 paired with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. This combination delivers 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. A turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with automatic transmission produces 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Next, a turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel V-6 gets you 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque with an automatic transmission but is only available on the four-door version. Another option is the 6.4-liter V-8 available with an automatic transmission on the four-door Rubicon only. It garners 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. Finally, Jeep is also offering a plug-in hybrid option for the 2025 Wrangler called the 4xe, producing a total system output of 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque.

Performance

Performance is Jeep's forte, and the Wrangler is packed with performance-enhancing features. Most Wranglers come standard with a part-time four-wheel drive with low-range gearing. A full-time four-wheel-drive system is also available and standard on the Rubicon. The Rubicon also offers heavy-duty Dana 44 front and rear axles with a shorter 4:10 gear ratio, electronic locking front and rear differentials, and an electronic disconnecting front stabilizer bar.

Interior
