Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2025 Ram 1500 has seven core trims: Tradesman, Big Horn, Rebel, Laramie, Longhorn, Limited, and TRX. Standard features include 18-inch steel wheels, automatic headlights, power-adjustable heated exterior mirrors, and black bumpers and door handles starting with the Tradesman. The Big Horn adds a chrome bumper and 18-inch aluminum wheels. The Rebel features LED exterior lighting, underbody skid plates, a power-sliding rear window, and a Class IV trailer-towing receiver hitch.
The mid-range Laramie gets you exterior chrome, power-sliding side mirrors, and LED headlights. Gain 20-inch aluminum wheels, rain-sensing windshield wipers, spray-in bedliner, in-bed lighting, and a power tailgate release with the Longhorn. Power-deployable running boards come with the Limited. The TRX offers flared fenders, 35-inch all-terrain tires, a performance exhaust system, and amber LED lights embedded into a functional hood scoop.
Engine (Power)
Four engines are available with the 2025 Ram 1500, each using an eight-speed automatic transmission powering the rear wheels. A 3.6-liter V-6 engine generates 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque and comes with Ram's eTorque system. The 5.7-liter V-8 engine delivers 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque and is available with or without Ram's eTorque system.
Next is the diesel-power 3.0-liter V-6 turbocharged engine generating 260 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. Finally, a 6.2-liter V-8 supercharged engine is only available for the TRX and delivers 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
Depending on the engine you pick for your 2025 Ram 1500, you can expect to be able to tow anywhere from 6,120 to 12,750 pounds. Safety Features
Several safety features are available for the Rebel, Laramie, Longhorn, Limited, and TRX. Depending on the trim level, they include adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure mitigation, and a surround-view camera system.
